Subtle Vengeance

Okay so here’s the thing. I just spent a couple hours watching videos on youtube. Nerimon has just so much stuff that makes me laugh and want to be his friend.

Of course, now I’m thinking that perhaps I might have something to say on the internet. I know! Impossible, right? Oh wait, there’s this blog. You know, the one I’m writing right now. Or that I wrote.. and you’re reading right now. Because you’re in the future.

And I do have things to say here. Go ahead, read ‘em! But I sorta want to say some things out loud, too. Maybe with pictures. And I have this bit about pronunciation that wouldn’t work in text format. Well, it would, but not as well.

This is not the first time I’ve had this impulse.

I also have this plan for a series of video blogs for Jim to make that would go along with the comic and his descent into madness. The first one has literally been scripted and on my desktop for, like, half a year. I even have the costume. Bought goggles on the internet specifically for it. But I haven’t got round to it.

Would people like to listen to me? To watch me rant? Would they be put off by my voice, which is way girlier than it sounds in my head? (I think I have a funny skull resonance, because I sound awesome to me. I really hope I sing half as well as I think I do. I’m no Brentalfloss, but I think I hold my own.)

I guess iPod would watch ‘em, and my wife, and maybe my mom? No, I don’t think my mom even reads this. She tries to like technology but has trouble caring enough sometimes. Good for her!

Also, it would be stuff to embarrass my kid with later. Excellent.

I dunno. But the pronunciation bit is scripting in my brain as I type, and eventually I’ll have to put it out there somewhere. Stay tuned.

PS: has anyone ever said “douchetard” before? I kinda like it. I was saying “fucktard” way before anyone else as far as I know. But “fuck” is a bad word. Shit, I just said “fuck” twice.

PPS: should I cuss on youtube? or should I keep it clean? my favorite videos all have cussing in them. I think I like when people don’t pull punches. I dunno.
