If you bookmark your last-read comic in the archives, and just "next, next, next, oh, it's the end, edit bookmark" then you don't ever actually see the front page. So we had zero idea about the migraines either. Sorry to hear it. Your own body turning against you is never fun. It’s actually possible to never see the newsposts, and it has nothing to do with scrolling down. If you bookmark your last-read comic in the archives, and just “next, next, next, oh, it’s the end, edit bookmark” then you don’t ever actually see the front page.

Anyone following her blog can get more details. So, that’s the state of things. Close to the Chest is on indefinite hiatus until another artist can be found." Also, if you're still using bookmarks for your webcomics, might I suggest you look into <a href="https://www.google.com/reader/" rel="nofollow">Google Reader</a> or another RSS system. I've got all my webcomics except <a href="http://polkout.com" rel="nofollow">Polkout</a> in my reader, because Polkout's RSS doesn't work right. Which means that if one stops updating, it just sits quietly in my list and never bothers me. Believe me, I'm as depressed as anyone (with the exception of Holly, because trust me, degenerative vision loss is freaking depressing) that the comic is stalled. I love these characters and this project, and will never give up on it. I just wish I was rich and/or well-connected and/or socially, uh, not-inept, so I could just pull another artist out of my ass. Sorry. The only other artist I know isn't interested, and I can... sort of draw? but I don't enjoy it.
