There is really great art there. I really love the one that at first glance looks like cartoon profile face with square eye and a furled brow, but on closer examination is a lovely nude wearing a collar with a square pendant. It’s a VERY good work, was that the intent?
Unfortunately my wife won’t let me buy/hang things like that at home, especially with out 6 year old son. It’s real pity, that piece really touched and intrigued me.
A lot of my stuff starts out with a simple idea, and then just expands into whatever it becomes. Most of the highlights and shading play tricks with the eye, and some of it is intentional, and some of it just happens.
