Yes, we're mostly focused on showcasing the characters and developing relationships between them at this point. Particularly Mila, who is technically the first mostly-fictional character to appear and also the most interesting to us. I do have a general vision of what the world of CttC is like, a world in which there is a technology called the LightSuit and CSIS can get involved in the caffeine-powered adventures of a university student (Look Ma, no spoilers!). It will all unfold in the future... and the house is supposed to be based on a house I actually lived in when I was starting the comic. For reference, it had 6 bedrooms (3 upstairs, 3 downstairs) and a living room on each floor. We packed it full of 20s-aged bachelors. I was originally going to go with a floor plan based on it and show how each room moved to the next, but that proved rather difficult to work with, particularly given that everything has to go from my mind to Holly's mind before it hits the paper. Because I'm bored I'll describe that house... The kitchen is just off the upper living room, which has a large picture window facing north. Jim's room is at the northeast corner, south of that is Taylor's and then Emo's, next to the bathroom. The downstairs floor plan is a little odder, but that's where iPod lives. There is a backyard in the south, the kitchen has a window to that (we saw Mila and iPod looking out there at Jim's shed way back when she first showed up). Also, in a very early comic there was a picture of the house based on the real front of the house, but it was rather crudely drawn. May 14th, 2007. You can see the picture window, one basement window, and the steps to the front door. And Lauren, just so you're aware, high-quality prints of individual comics, with or without the captions, may be purchased from the artist. Stuff like that. It's too... I can't think of the word really... blank, that's thats the best I could describe it I guess. Although so far it seems it doesn't really need it since it's still early in the comic, and your just showing the characters attitudes and personalities it seems.
